This new construction project was a whole home scope of work that included exterior and interior finishes and selections, but focused the decorative design details to the first floor including the family room, kitchen, dining, primary bedroom, and guest suite. This Hawaiian-inspired interior blends airy openness with natural textures and island warmth, featuring wide-plank light wood floors, soft neutral walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The furnishings favor clean lines and comfortable silhouettes in neutral linens and textured woven rattan, accented by deep green botanicals, koa-inspired furniture pieces, artful touches and brass lighting. A serene palette of sand, sea-glass blue, and lush green keeps the look tranquil and contemporary, while layered lighting—recessed downlights, chandeliers with woven shades, and soft wall sconces—creates versatile ambiance. High quality, low-maintenance materials ensure the home feels both relaxed and resilient, honoring Hawaiian family heritage through subtle patterns, craftsmanship, and an emphasis on connection to nature.
